Junior Vikings

Welcome to the new web site featuring the East Hall Jr Viking Football and Cheerleading.

Junior Vikings  Junior Vikings

Our program is comprised of children from the eastern Hall county community, specifically White Sulphur Elementary School, Lula Elementary School, Tadmore Elementary School, Sugar Hill Elementary School, and East Hall Middle. The Jr Viking program offers tackle football and cheerleading to children ages 5 to 12 yrs. old. The football teams break down by age divisions. We do our best to allow cheerleaders to cheer for their sibling’s football team. It is our goal that all children have a positive experience. We welcome children of all ability levels no drafting, player assessments, or try outs will be held. All children will get to participate. The well being of the program participants is our primary concern. Please email us with any suggestions, questions, or concerns.

East Hall Jr Viking Football and Cheerleading is a non-profit organization whose mission is to:

• Provide youth with organized competition in a safe environment
• Bring our youth closer together through common interest in sportsmanship and competition
• Instill the values of education
• Acquaint the players with the fundamentals of the game rules; running, kicking, blocking and tackling
• Teach sportsmanship, discipline and love of the game
• Encourage the players to maintain satisfactory grades in school and to emphasize the importance of keeping a proper relationship and balance    between scholastic and athletic endeavors

We have lots of great things in store this season. Thanks to all of you who have stood by us during our first four years. It has been a learning experience. We are making progress in our efforts to identify and implement any and all courses of action to maintain and improve the stature of the East Hall Jr. Viking program. This year we would like to welcome Coach Bryan Gray (EHHS Head Football Coach) and his staff. They will be training coaches and assisting them in any way they can. We look forward to working with them.
This year the Jr.Viking Association in a joint effort with the High School Touchdown Club will be trying new policies to help improve our program. New this year is our team representative. Each team will elect one person that will become an association member. This allows ALL teams to have a direct voice in association processes. These reps will meet once a month with the East Hall High School Touch Down club officers and Coach Gray. At this time they can bring forth any issues that need to be addressed. Once the season begins the elected representative of your team will be your best point of contact for questions and concerns.
